Questions
Answered plainly, including the awkward ones
Every answer here is literally true of what we built. Where something has a limit or a trade-off, the limit is in the answer — a subscription is easier to keep when nobody feels misled by the sales page.
What exactly do I get when I subscribe?
A license key and both kits. Film Kit installs /bountex-motion, which turns a rough idea, a URL, or a repository into a creative brief, a production prompt, a storyboard, and a rendered product film. Reel Kit installs /bountex-motion-reel, which turns a reference or a piece of music into a beat-synced motion reel. Both work in whichever AI coding tool you already use — Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, OpenCode, GitHub Copilot, Antigravity, or Kimi Code — and both end in a file rendered on your machine that has survived an independent critic loop.
Do I need to know how to code?
You need to be comfortable running one terminal command to install and activate, and you need an AI coding tool to run the workflow in. Everything after that is a conversation: you describe the film, the workflow asks only the questions that change the outcome, and you approve each checkpoint.
Does it render the video for me, in the cloud?
No, and we would rather say so plainly. The build and the render run on your machine, through the HyperFrames CLI, which needs Node 22 or newer, FFmpeg, and a Chrome install. That is what keeps a render of any length possible for a flat monthly price instead of metered per minute.
How is this different from pointing an AI at a video generator?
A generator starts at the animation. This starts at the decision: who is watching, what single idea they should leave with, and which shot carries it. It writes those decisions down with facts and inferences kept strictly apart, refuses to invent claims or numbers, storyboards before animating, and then runs a fresh critic after every correction pass. The animation is the last step, not the first.
Why does the workflow need to load content from your server?
The kit you install is the workflow’s shape — its order, its principles, and the state it keeps. The method behind each phase is licensed material that is served to your machine on demand while your subscription is active, and never written to disk. That is how a licensed workflow stays licensed, and it is also why updates reach you without you reinstalling anything.
How do updates reach me?
Mostly nothing. The method behind each phase is served fresh rather than installed, so the next time you load a phase you get the current version of it — there is no version to chase and no release to wait for. When we sharpen the production prompt or the quality bar, your next session uses the sharper one. The kit on disk does have an `update` command, but it only refreshes the skeleton, which rarely changes. Both kits move together, in all seven tools. That is what the subscription pays for — the method keeps improving while you are subscribed, and your rate does not move.
What happens if I cancel?
Your installed kit keeps working, and the parts of it that live on your machine keep working with it. The licensed phase content stops being served, so the workflow can no longer run its phases to completion. Re-subscribing restores it immediately — nothing is deleted from your projects, and your briefs and renders are yours.
How many machines can I use?
Three devices per license by default. Activating on a machine you have already activated never costs an extra seat, so reinstalling is free. If you hit the limit, the CLI lists your devices and lets you free one in a single command.
Which aspect ratios does it produce?
16:9 and 9:16 as standard, at 1080p/60fps unless you specify otherwise. They are composed separately rather than cropped, which is more work and is the difference between a vertical film and a landscape film with the sides cut off.
Is there a refund?
Yes — 14 days, no questions asked. Cancel from the billing portal in the dashboard or from the link in your receipt.
Can I use the films commercially?
Yes. The films you produce are yours, with no attribution requirement and no per-film fee. What the license does not permit is redistributing or reselling the workflow itself.
Still unsure?
The documentation covers installation, the six phases, every command and flag, and the eight failures people actually hit.
