Film Kit + Reel Kit · one license key

Ship a product film or a motion reel that looks like an agency made it.

BountEx Motion installs a creative director into the AI coding tool you already use. Describe what you want once. It inspects what you have, decides the idea, writes it down, storyboards, builds, and then refuses to sign off on its own work.

Two workflows

One license. Two kinds of video.

Both install into the AI coding tool you already use and both end in a rendered file on your machine. They differ in what leads: a story, or a beat.

Film Kit

/bountex-motion

Product and brand films

A creative director and production orchestrator for product and brand films: adaptive interview, creative direction, production prompt, storyboard, deterministic build, and an independent critic loop.

  • Story-led: one message, one story, three signature moments
  • Inspects your site and repo before asking anything
  • Writes the creative brief and the production prompt
  • Storyboards before animating, then a critic loop
  • 16:9 and 9:16 composed separately, never cropped

Writes to video-project/ · 6 licensed phases · modes: brief, prompt, build, full

Reel Kit

/bountex-motion-reel

Short, music-led motion reels

A motion designer and production orchestrator for short, music-led motion-design reels: concept, audio bed, beat sheet, storyboard, a mandatory review gate, a hero shot, the build, and an independent critic loop.

  • Concept-led: one visual idea, carried by movement
  • Cuts and accents land on the beat
  • Kinetic type, UI pops, springy overshoot, motion blur
  • Two visual modes: graphic and ui
  • Stops at a review gate — nothing is built until you approve

Writes to motion-project/ · 7 licensed phases · modes: graphic, ui, full

Both are covered by the same subscription. Install one or both — npx bountex-motion install film, … install reel.

The gap

The bottleneck is not effort. It is taste, and process.

A generalist can animate. What they skip is the reasoning that happens before the animation: what the viewer should remember, which single number earns the screen, and what the film must never claim. That reasoning is what you are buying.

Creative Director

thinking about: Make a 30-second ad for our new pricing page
  • The pricing page is not the story — the decision the buyer is stuck on is the story.
  • Three numbers on screen at once is a wall. One number, then the reason it is safe.
  • The signature moment: the price holds still while the comparison slides past it.
  • That metaphor fails if the viewer has never seen the old plan. Show it once, small.
  • Nine shots, not fourteen. The cut has to feel expensive, and length is what makes it cheap.

Every one of these is a decision the workflow makes for you, and records in the brief so you can overrule it.

How it works

Six moves, in this order, every time.

Design first, then animate. When in doubt, remove rather than add. The order is not a preference — it is the reason the output does not look generated.

  1. 00

    Inspect before asking

It reads your site, your repository, your existing briefs, and any references you hand it. It opens with what it found, not with a questionnaire.

  2. 01

    Ask only what matters

A question earns its place only if the answer changes the film and cannot be inferred. Everything else becomes a recorded creative decision you can overrule.

  3. 02

    Choose one story

One message, one story, three signature moments, one visual metaphor — and the shot that carries it. Written to a brief that keeps facts and inferences apart.

  4. 03

    Storyboard before animating

Every shot carries one idea and one dominant movement. Both aspect ratios get their own plan. The storyboard is critiqued before a single frame is built.

  5. 04

    Build, deterministically

A render spike proves the pipeline before the full build. One paused timeline per composition, no wall-clock animation, no unseeded randomness.

  6. 05

    Never judge its own work

A fresh critic runs after every correction pass and reports FIXED, PARTIALLY FIXED, or STILL PRESENT. It stops when the bar is met, not when the builder is tired.

What the workflow loads, and when

The kit you install is the shape of the process. The method behind each phase is licensed content, delivered to your machine on demand while your subscription is active.

What is inside

Six pieces of judgement, not six prompts.

Everything below is written down, versioned, and improved continuously while you are subscribed. Your briefs and renders stay yours.

The interview method

The inspect-first checklist and the test that decides whether a question is worth asking at all.

The direction framework

Story selection, the six questions a director answers before a frame exists, and how to find signature moments.

The production prompt

A universal, fully constrained prompt filled with your project facts — the artifact that keeps a build honest.

The quality bar

Critic procedure, measurements, the issue format, the ledger, and the thresholds that decide when a film is finished.

The composition contract

Project layout, determinism rules, and the render CLI details that make the same source produce the same frame.

The brief template

The canonical brief with facts, inferences, creative decisions, and unknowns kept in separate sections.

What a film costs

Between $0.084 and $5.00 a film.

A film is one session of a coding agent reading a brief, writing compositions, and rendering them on your own machine. The only metered part is the model, and 500,000 tokens is what we measured per film across our own builds.

Nine models are free on OpenCode, including Big Pickle — so the honest floor is zero. Free is free because the provider gets something, though, so check the terms before feeding one a client's material.

An agency charges thousands for the same film. At these rates the model spend is not the cost — your time is.

  • DeepSeek V4.1 FlashOpenCode Zen$0.24

No prompt-cache discount is claimed, so every figure is an upper bound — a real session is usually cheaper. Prices and their dates are on the full table .

Showcase

Two kinds of video, one workflow each.

Films are story-led — an interview, a brief, a production prompt, a storyboard, a build, a critic loop. Reels are music-led — one visual idea, cuts on the beat, kinetic type, approved at a review gate before anything is built. The examples are being uploaded now, so every card below is an explicit placeholder in the space the real one will occupy.

Questions

Answered plainly.

What exactly do I get when I subscribe?
A license key and both kits. Film Kit installs /bountex-motion, which turns a rough idea, a URL, or a repository into a creative brief, a production prompt, a storyboard, and a rendered product film. Reel Kit installs /bountex-motion-reel, which turns a reference or a piece of music into a beat-synced motion reel. Both work in whichever AI coding tool you already use — Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, OpenCode, GitHub Copilot, Antigravity, or Kimi Code — and both end in a file rendered on your machine that has survived an independent critic loop.
Do I need to know how to code?
You need to be comfortable running one terminal command to install and activate, and you need an AI coding tool to run the workflow in. Everything after that is a conversation: you describe the film, the workflow asks only the questions that change the outcome, and you approve each checkpoint.
Does it render the video for me, in the cloud?
No, and we would rather say so plainly. The build and the render run on your machine, through the HyperFrames CLI, which needs Node 22 or newer, FFmpeg, and a Chrome install. That is what keeps a render of any length possible for a flat monthly price instead of metered per minute.
How is this different from pointing an AI at a video generator?
A generator starts at the animation. This starts at the decision: who is watching, what single idea they should leave with, and which shot carries it. It writes those decisions down with facts and inferences kept strictly apart, refuses to invent claims or numbers, storyboards before animating, and then runs a fresh critic after every correction pass. The animation is the last step, not the first.
Why does the workflow need to load content from your server?
The kit you install is the workflow’s shape — its order, its principles, and the state it keeps. The method behind each phase is licensed material that is served to your machine on demand while your subscription is active, and never written to disk. That is how a licensed workflow stays licensed, and it is also why updates reach you without you reinstalling anything.
How do updates reach me?
Mostly nothing. The method behind each phase is served fresh rather than installed, so the next time you load a phase you get the current version of it — there is no version to chase and no release to wait for. When we sharpen the production prompt or the quality bar, your next session uses the sharper one. The kit on disk does have an `update` command, but it only refreshes the skeleton, which rarely changes. Both kits move together, in all seven tools. That is what the subscription pays for — the method keeps improving while you are subscribed, and your rate does not move.
What happens if I cancel?
Your installed kit keeps working, and the parts of it that live on your machine keep working with it. The licensed phase content stops being served, so the workflow can no longer run its phases to completion. Re-subscribing restores it immediately — nothing is deleted from your projects, and your briefs and renders are yours.
How many machines can I use?
Three devices per license by default. Activating on a machine you have already activated never costs an extra seat, so reinstalling is free. If you hit the limit, the CLI lists your devices and lets you free one in a single command.
Which aspect ratios does it produce?
16:9 and 9:16 as standard, at 1080p/60fps unless you specify otherwise. They are composed separately rather than cropped, which is more work and is the difference between a vertical film and a landscape film with the sides cut off.
Is there a refund?
Yes — 14 days, no questions asked. Cancel from the billing portal in the dashboard or from the link in your receipt.
Can I use the films commercially?
Yes. The films you produce are yours, with no attribution requirement and no per-film fee. What the license does not permit is redistributing or reselling the workflow itself.

Stop being the bottleneck between your product and its film.

One license key, 7 tools, and a workflow that treats your product's facts as non-negotiable.
